60s PIFCO Portable Lamp, Battery Operated 70s

Vintage globe light, created in the early 1970's, by Pifco. The lamp takes 3 SP2 batteries (not included), to power a small light, however, I have heard that many people are now just putting l.e.d lights in these units, obtaining that fantastic original authenticity with modern technology. The lamp can be hung on the wall or sat flat to decorate a table

Great condition, clean battery unit, some very light surface scratches to the white part, but these are not at all visible unless you hold the piece really close up., sold as untested but is working.
