Vintage brass framed mirror from Italy in the manner of Gio Ponti, c.1950.
A beautifully simple design. The stamped brass frame has gentle curves which flow seamlessly around the mirrored glass and have been folded around the wooden backer with a wavy finial detail to the top.
Linear etching on the glass create a simple inner frame.
The mirror’s size and shape lend itself to being used as mantel, bathroom or hallway mirror
This is a lightweight piece, so perfect for stud walls and easy to hang.

The brass frame is in really good condition with only minor has age related patina.
The frame overall is light in weight, please handle with care.
The mirrored glass is original and also has patina and some foxing which is linear a stripe to the centre - see photos, please expect some very light scratching.
