This Is A Stunning Vintage Ercol Model 427 Lounge Chair with ebonised finish with minimal square cushions reupholstered in luxury Bute 'Storr' wool fabric 'eggshell' colour.
Bute fabric is manufactured in Scotland, it is quality heavy weight wool and ahs been tested for wear to Martindale Abrasion 65,000 cycles.
Designed By Lucien Ercolani For Ercol circa 60s it has clean lines and minimalist form.
The webbing straps have been replaced with Pirelli webbing, the seat cushions are new and reversible and removable.
The wooden frame has been cleaned and conditioned maintaining the original patina with some light / nicks dings consistent with light wear and use of over 50 years which have bene toned to be less noticeable.
Heavy density Foam makes the seat cushions really comfortable and supportive.
The Chair has Its Ercol blue label on the frame dating from the 60s.
A stunning midcentury piece which would be a fine addition to any home.
