A lovely vintage original pair of stacking Quitmann & Co. vintage Czechoslovakian stools with re-upholstered black vinyl.

These are design on an 'A-frame' which is typically midcentury and utilitarian enabling these to be stacked so these are great for small spaces!

These have been lightly sanded and re-oiled to maintain a vintage look, please expect knock and dings and a lovingly used vintage patina from over 50 years of use.

J. Quitmann & Co. was recorded in Furniture Gazette: Classified List of the Furniture, Upholstery, and Allied Trades (1886) as bent wood furniture importers at 132 Queen Victoria Street. E. & O. Quitmann was mentioned in the LondonIllustrated News c.1915 as specialists in bentwood furniture of every description including chairs, hall stands and roll top desks.
