Rare orange stained C92wooden stick back chair by Frank Guille for Kandya circa 1960s.
A lovely vibrant colour this authentic piece has taken influence from the space age and mod aesthetic of the period combined with the classicism of a stick back chair. This has glossy patine which a has beautifully in places.
The upper crest rail gently curves to cushion your back with tapered spindles/splats and the angled struts placed under the seat are a unique feature setting this apart from Ercol and traditional farmhouse furniture.
This would suit neutral interiors adding a pop of colour and could also be intentionally mis-matched with other colours for a modern retro look.
