This classic modernist design inspired by Arne Jacobsen was created by Frank Wardle for British brand Vono. Wardle is well known for his work with the Vono brand, featuring distinctive moulded shells which curve with buttoned upholstery and chrome swivel bases.
Extremely comfortable as well as stylish these make great TV or reading chairs.
Sourced from a 60s modernist house in the Lake District north England where the owner preferred shopping for furniture exclusively from either Heals London or Liberty London - laterly IKEA.
Fully restored and professionally reupholstered in a durable and cleanable tweed effect fabric mix in a grey / black / off white colour blend . The overall look is of a deep charcoal colour with a light sheen, almost a blue hue in some lights.
Swivel base in chrome coloured metal with rubber feet.
